Negotiation Skills

Aster has developed a range of negotiation training courses suitable for both novices and delegates with more experience of using negotiation techniques. Negotiation theory is taught using a series of interactive role plays ensuring delegates learn in a  fun, stimulating and thought provoking environment.

We try where possible to tailor the learning materials to the delegates on each particular course so they can relate to the scernarios we use as role plays.

The role plays used to practice negotiation skills typically involve exercises to negotiate:-
  • the unit cost of a high value component
  • the purchase of a piece of capital equipment
  • the setting up of a service contract
  • mystery role plays where negotiation technique, strategy and intuition will be exercised to the maximum
