| Course Overview The five day PRINCE2 Practitioner training course will provide delegates with a complete and practical understanding of how to apply the PRINCE2™ methodology in any number of different scenarios. It includes the preparation for, and the sitting of, the examination leading to the Prince2™ Practitioner Certificate, which is highly prized by both employers and project managers alike. This course is suitable for Project Managers, Project Consultants, Team Managers, Project Planners, Project Estimators, Project Support Staff, Project Assurance Staff or anyone with an interest in the practical management of a PRINCE2™ project.

DAY 5 The Examination The examination is in an objective style format is as follows:- - There are 9 questions with a scenario and appendices
- Each question is worth 40 marks (Total 360 marks available)
- To pass the PRINCE2 Objective Style Testing examination candidates require 180 correct answers from the possible.
- The PRINCE2 Objective Style Testing is 3 hours in duration
Candidates must be able to demonstrate: - They can fine tune PRINCE2 to varying project situations
- That they have understood and can apply the differences between processes, techniques, components and PRINCE2 products.
- Create a detailed explanation of how PRINCE2 might be applied to a given scenario
- Show understanding of the reasons why the principles underpinning PRINCE2 and how they affect the processes, components and techniques of PRINCE2
Summary There are no pre-requisites in terms of project management experience, although experience of managing a project will be a distinct advantage. Prior to the course, each delegate will be sent the PRINCE2™ manual, suggested pre-course work and a reading list, in order that they become familiar with the PRINCE2™ concepts, scenarios and questions. It is essential to the successful delivery of this course that the pre-course work is completed. A large proportion of this pre-course work may be omitted where the delegate has already achieved the Foundation Certificate. The PRINCE2 Practitioner training course is limited to a maximum of twelve delegates. Course costs cover the training sessions, a comprehensive set of course notes, lunch, refreshments and the examination certificate. This is a non-residential training course.
